ITINERAY:

DAY 01: Receptions and transfer  (airport – hotel).

this tour you will visit the fantastic cusco city and some important archaelogical sites that are close of the city.

At 13:30 pm we will pick you up from your hotel, and then we will visit one of the most important sites in Cusco: the temple of the son (Temple of Qoricacancha). Today this temple is the monastery of the Dominican order where the priests still live. Then we will continue in our private car and we will visit the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, where the Cusquenian people celebrate the festival of the sun (INTY RAIMI). After that we will visit QENQO (Temple of the Mother Earth), and finally we will visit the temple of the water (TAMBOMACHAY).

DAY 02: SACRED VALLEY CUSCO (Pisaq – Urubamba – Ollantaytambo – Chinchero.

At 08:20 am we will start the sacred valley tour. First we will visit the typical and colorful Inca market in the town of PISAQ, where you can see different types of work made by local people, such as sweaters, caps, scarves, etc, all made from baby alpaca wool. . After visiting Ollantaytambo we will return to Cusco, but on the way back we will make one last stop in CHINCHERO, where we will visit one of most important Catholic churches from VI century. In this church you will see many paintings made by indigenous peoples and we will also visit the archaeological site that has the same name as the town. (Chinchero). Then we will return to Cusco.

Day 03: Tour Machu Picchu Full Day (Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu – Cusco).

Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the train station in

Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes town. Here we will meet with our professional tour guide who will bring us to the bus station. From here we will take the bus that will take us to the entrance gate of the Inca city of MACHU PICCHU (one of the 7 wonders of the world). Once we arrive at Machu Picchu you will have a guided tour for about 3 hours. We will visit the most important areas of this Inca city, such as the main square, guardian”s house, temple of the three windows, inty huatana,  and the urban and agricultural sectors. After the guided tour you will have free time to visit Machu Picchu alone and enough time to visit Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain if you have an entrance ticket. Finally, after visiting Machu Picchu, we will return to the city of Cusco by the same way that we left. First you will return to Aguas Calientes by bus where you can have lunch and wait for the train to return to Ollantaytambo. You have to arrive at the train station 30 minutes before the train leaves. You will travel by train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, where we will await for you for transfer by our private car to Cusco City. (hotel).

Day 04: Moray – Maras – Salineras (salt mine) 08:20 – 14:30 pm.

This day we will visit one of the most important archaeological sites, which is called

Moray and the salt mines (Salineras). We will travel by our private  bus from Cusco to Moray for about 1 hour,  where we will have to walk to be able to visit and understand the importance of this place. After to visit this inca ruins we will visit the colonial town of Maras fro apreciate some colonial building  such us, church, casa Real etc, Then we will visit the Inca Salt Mines, where the Incas harvested salt for their consumption. After visiting these 2 important places we will return to Cusco for lunch.

Day 045: Transfer From your Hotel to Airport..

At the indicated time, we will come at your hotel to transfer you to the international airport, Alejandro Velasco Astete, in the city of Cusco.

TOUR SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS WITH OVERNIGHT IN MACHU PICCHU . 2 DAYS – 1 NIGHT

One of our classic and important tours in Cusco is the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. In this tour, the first day we will visit the typical local artisanal market in the village of Pisaq and the Archaeological site of Pisaq. Then we will continue along the Vilcanota River until we reach Urubamba town, where we will enjoy the typical Peruvian lunch buffet. Later we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, then we will continue by train to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night in one of our hotels. The second day, early in the morning, we will visit the sanctuary of MACHU PICCHU. In the evening we will return to Cusco.

ITINERARY Sacred Valley Tour & Machupicchu 2 Days

Day 01: CUSCO – PISAQ – URUBAMBA – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES (Machu Picchu town)

We will pick up you from your hotel at 8:20 am in our touristic bus, and then we will go to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas and different archaeological zones like, PISAQ AND orellana peru - ollantaytamboOLLANTAYTAMBO. We can also visit the  typical artesanal markets of the town of Pisaq.

The first place you will visit will be the typical local market of Pisaq, where you will have the opportunity to appreciate different types of sweaters, scarves, and hats made of alpaca, wool, etc. After this short stop, we will continue to the archaeological site of PISAQ. We will have to walk approximately 10 minutes to get there. Here you will have a guided tour for around 1 hour, where we will visit the most important places, like the agriculture place, cemetery of the Incas, the temple of the sun, etc. After visiting Pisaq we will continue to URUBAMBA in our bus and around midday we will stop in a typical restaurant to enjoy our typical Peruvian lunch (buffet).

After our lunch we will drive 30 more minutes to visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Here you will again discover the magnificence of the Inca constructions and the beauty of the local people in their traditional dress. End of the tour of sacred valley at 15:45 PM.

After of our tour we will drop you at the train station in Ollantaytambo, from where you will take the train at 16:36 pm to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). You will travel by train approximately one hour and 45 minutes from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes where our transfer will await you to transfer to our hotel (Night in hotel).

(Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes is at 16:36 pm, arrival in Aguas Calientes at 18:20 pm).

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu (Wonder of the World) – Cusco.

Early in the morning we will take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. This short trip by bus will be approximately 30 minutes along an unpaved road. During the trip by bus you will appreciate the fantastic and beautiful landscapes full of plants and beautiful flowers, and you will also see the Vilcanota River. Then we will visit Machu Picchu with our professional guide who will guide us through the whole Inca citadel of Machu Picchu for approximately 3 hours. Then you will have free time to visit more places in the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and take the best photos  in places that you like.

If would you like to visit Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain you can go after our guided tour in Machu Picchu if you have an entrance ticket.

Machu Picchu was one of the most important cities of the Incas and you need to stay here more than 5 hour to experience all of Machu Picchu.

After visiting Machu Picchu, we will return to Aguas Calientes in our bus where you can enjoy your delicious lunch. Later you have to return to Ollantaytambo by train, and then travel by bus to Cusco (please you must arrive at the train station 30 minutes before departure time).

The train ride takes about 2 hours, and offers spectacular scenery on the way to one of the 7 wonders of the world, which combines mountains and huge jungle. The train descends to 2100 meters. Without a doubt this is one of the most spectacular rides we have in Peru. Once you arrive in Aguas Calientes our tour guide will meet you at the train station and then take you to the bus station, from where you will take the bus to the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu.
